Job description

  • Create test plans, test cases, and automated scripts from specifications and user stories.

  • Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug tracking system (Jira).

  • Work closely with developers, product owners, product designers to understand needs, give feedback, and fix problems quickly.

  • Perform functional, non-functional and regression testing activities.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

  • Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide clear and concise reports on the quality of the software.

  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other agile ceremonies.

  • Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in software testing.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process and testing practices.

Job requirements

  • 3+ years Experience in software quality assurance or/and in test automation.

  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.

  • Experience with at least one automation framework or scripting language (e.g., Python, .NET C#, ...).

  • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

  • Fluent in communication in English.

  • Passion for breaking things.

  • Good time management, communication, and organizational skills.

Nice to have:

  • Testing experience with desktop applications.

Salary Range: 32,000 - 42,000 EUR gross/yearly. The final offer will depend on experience and competencies.
